JEWELLERY CARE

IMG_1690.jpg

As with all items of jewellery, your Beryl & Silver purchases should be treasured and looked after.
Sterling silver will often become tarnished and/or discoloured if it comes into contact with chemicals or household products, such as hairspray, perfumes, make-up, lotions and potions, and so on.
It is recommended that you put your jewellery on as the final step when getting ready, and take your jewellery off before it comes into contact with any of the above.
Try not to wear your jewellery in the bath/shower or to bed, or even when exercising - these actions can cause unreasonable wear and tear, plus it is not advisable to get your Beryl & Silver jewellery wet.
Also, natural discolouration and tarnishing may occur to your sterling silver over time due to your jewellery's exposure to different skin types/skin oils and the air.
Don't worry... this is a natural process that occurs with sterling silver and it does not constitute a fault.
Wiping your jewellery occasionally with a polishing cloth will restore its shine.
The best way to care for your jewellery when you're not wearing it is to keep it neatly stored in a box in a cool, dry place.

Included in your Beryl & Silver order is a jewellery care card which will highlight how best to care for your jewellery - you can keep it for future reference!

Every piece of Beryl & Silver jewellery comes displayed on a branded backing card and is delicately placed in a 100% natural cotton drawstring bag to keep your treasures looking their best.

A small anti-tarnish silver polish tissue is included in every order - we also have a selection of long-lasting jewellery polishing cloths which are available to purchase.

I hope you love wearing your Beryl & Silver jewellery as much as I enjoyed making it!
