Each pair is handmade in my Somerset studio using 10 natural amethyst beads and elegant 6mm sterling silver circle earrings.

The superior-quality semi-precious amethyst beads are Grade A quality and are the most gorgeous rich purple colour - they are approximately 4mm in size.
 
Amethyst, a variety of quartz, is easily identifiable by its violet to purple colours which are caused by the presence of iron in the quartz.
