These amethyst raw gemstone hoop earrings are just lovely.
 
Each pair is handmade in my Somerset studio using two natural amethyst raw gemstones and classic 16mm sterling silver full hoop earrings.

The gorgeous semi-precious amethyst beads are tube-shaped and each one is unique. Each bead varies in colour from a gorgeous lilac to a deep rich purple and they are approximately 10mm x 6mm in size.
 
Amethyst, a variety of quartz, is easily identifiable by its violet to purple colours which are caused by the presence of iron in the quartz.
 
These lovely hoops are lightweight and comfortable, and are perfect for dressing up or down due to their simple elegance.
