This lovely Herkimer diamond icicle necklace is just gorgeous.
 
Each one is handmade in my Somerset studio using three natural, Grade A-quality Herkimer diamonds and a classic 18in (45cm) recycled sterling silver trace chain, finished with a bolt ring clasp and jump ring.
 
The chunky Herkimer diamonds are of a superior quality and each stone is approximately 6mm to 10mm in size - they are beautifully cut to make them extremely sparkly.
 
Herkimer diamonds are not real diamonds, but in fact quartz crystals from the Herkimer region of America - but when you see how they twinkle with mirror-like shine and rainbow sparkles, it is obvious why they got their name! Each bright, sparkly stone is naturally different in shape, size, and colour, but they are all equally beautiful and make wonderful jewellery.
