These lapis lazuli raw gemstone hoop earrings are really special.
 
Each pair is handmade in my Somerset studio using two natural lapis lazuli raw gemstones and classic 16mm sterling silver full hoop earrings.

The gorgeous semi-precious lapis lazuli beads are tube-shaped and each one is unique - they are approximately 10mm x 6mm in size.
 
Lapis is metamorphic stone made up of calcite, lazurite and pyrite, and is characterised by its intense deep blue colour and golden pyrite mottled patterns. It can also contain cloudy white calcite inclusion flecks and can vary in colour from a rich royal blue to a deeper navy.
 
These lovely hoops are lightweight and comfortable, and are perfect for dressing up or down due to their simple elegance.
