This rainbow moonstone cluster necklace is simple yet oh so elegant.
 
Each necklace is handmade in my Somerset studio using five natural rainbow moonstone beads and a classic 18in (45cm) sterling silver trace chain, finished with a bolt ring clasp and jump ring.
 
The superior-quality semi-precious rainbow moonstone beads are Grade A quality and have a gorgeous pearly opalescent shine - they are approximately 4mm in size.
 
Rainbow moonstone has an iridescent quality and is known for its colour flashes - the crystals can range from a milky white to a marbled black and white pattern. Rainbow moonstone is a variety of the mineral orthoclase and is a paler relation of labradorite.
 
Lightweight and comfortable, it is the perfect necklace for dressing up or down, and it would suit any occasion - from a shopping trip to a wedding!
