This elegant rainbow moonstone dewdrop necklace is oh so pretty.
 
Each dainty necklace is handmade in my Somerset studio using 10 natural rainbow moonstone beads and a classic 18in (45cm) sterling silver trace chain, finished with a bolt ring clasp and jump ring. The total length of the necklace is 20in (50cm) including beads.
 
The semi-precious rainbow moonstone beads are really lovely and they have subtle flashes of blue when moved in the light. Each bead is approximately 4mm x 2mm.
 
Rainbow moonstone has an iridescent quality and is known for its colour flashes - the crystals can range from a milky white to a marbled black and white pattern. Rainbow moonstone is a variety of the mineral orthoclase and is a paler relation of labradorite.
 
Lightweight and comfortable, it is a beautiful and timeless necklace and, due to its natural elegance, is perfect for any occasion - even a wedding!
