These snowflake obsidian cluster earrings are really rather special.
 
Each pair is handmade in my Somerset studio using 10 natural 4mm snowflake obsidian beads and elegant 6mm sterling silver circle earrings.
 
Obsidian is jet black colour and is formed when hot lava cools rapidly. Snowflake Obsidian is a variation of this with unique grey-ish spots due to trace elements of cristobalite. These patterns often resemble snowflakes which gives the stone its unique name.
 
The circle earrings are lightweight and comfortable, and are perfect for dressing up or down due to their simple elegance.
